Course Content

Theory
Legal Requirements, Seamanship, Motors, Safety and Emergencies, Rule of the Road and Distress Signals, Weather / Marine Environment, Radio, First Aid, Navigation and Chart work.

Practical
Candidate guided until satisfactory level of boat handling achieved.

Duration

Categories R & E  –  Saturday morning 08h30 until 13h00.
Categories B, C & D  –  Saturday morning 08h30 until 16h30.

Categories R & E (1nm)  –  R1500.00
Category B (40nm)  –  R2200.00
Categories C & D (15nm)  –  R1800.00

Cost include all stationery, lecture and theoretical exam. A light lunch also included.
