Thanks to all who were there on Saturday. It was a great run with perfect weather and a nice size swell running. Everyone had a great time on their ski's learning how to run safely in and out big surf.
The new guys who were there also had great fun and enjoyed riding the new FZR and SHO. It is good to see new faces joining us for these events, which will help to make these events more sociable in future.
We hope to see more people joining us for the next event, which is going to be soon. Please keep an eye on this space or contact me for more info on next events.

With winter upon us it means cold front after cold front, but for me winter is great for fishing. Sure it's colder in the mornings and still dark by 07h00 but the time spent on the water is so much better. Why, you ask? For me, it's simple: one has more hours on the water. You don't have the Cape Doctor chasing you home after only an hour or two. So, with that being said, the snoek has been keeping the guys busy for the last few weeks and the commercials are coming home with full quotas. Even the sport and recreational guys have managed to get full quotas (10 per man). The yellowtails are still around with some good catches taken at Robben Island and further up the coast at Dassen Island. So it would seem that – in between all the sport on television and with the soccer world cup upon us – we have some fish to catch over weekends ... and during the week too for the lucky few that are on leave.
From what I've heard the tuna are still around in the deep and are moving slowly to the north. Let's hope that with our season starting so late they will stay around until mid-July so we can still catch a monster or two.
So from us at Magson: dress warm and enjoy yourselves on the water.

A big thanks to those who were there on the weekend for the jetski social run. There were a few die-hards on Saturday – when the run was called off due to bad weather – who went for a run anyway. The guys really enjoyed it and had great fun on the water.
Sunday was a beautiful day and it was a go ahead. Some guys from Saturday joined in again and had a perfect day on the water. A special thanks for Martin van Rooyen for all his input, advice and keeping everyone together – making it a great day out.
This was the first of more events like this: we are planning a "Three Bay Challenge" within the coming months. Starting in Hermanus we'll run to Harbour Island in Gordon's Bay. So, be sure to check this space regularly for updates.

| With the latest boat test by Leisure Boating they suggested the Adventure looks like an offshore boat. So we thought with the nice weather approaching we would like to try the boat at some offshore activities. On Wednesday the 6th of May we decided to go after we added the necessary safety equipment to comply to the 40n/mile rating. .
